Want to see the current bane of my existence?

Those of you that have known me a while, know we finally bought our house a few months back, you know…  the one with the vampire closet, remember?  Anyway… renovation is under way downstairs to finish up that “unfinished room”.

ok, this room was L shaped… it was GOING to be our bedroom and a BIG walk-in closet… BUT.. Darrin discovered they had knocked out some support beams and the entire ceiling was sagging so now it will be our bedroom, Darrin’s office, and my walk in closet.  so much for having a HUGE bedroom….

Adding the support beams BACK raised the ceiling 3 inches, can you believe that?!  I’m surprised my fat ass didn’t go right on thru the floor!

NOTE the castle painted on the walls…

he wanted to strip that off so he could water treat the concrete cause we don’t know if it ever has been… but there is NOTHING that will get that paint off… He has bought everything Lowes has to remove paint and nothing.  He thinks maybe they water treated OVER the paint and that’s why it wont come off…

This is the ugly sliding glass door (Below)  that someone has tinted with CAR TINT…. umm… smart right? lol…

I want it GONE and a bow window put in…

BUT the city wont give US a permit to do it, and the cheapest contractor we can find is $4000 (well, dont let me lie.. $3800)

And this is the big walk in closet…

you will walk THRU to get to a small room, that will eventually have a tanning bed in it!

already has all the power run etc.. just holding on insulation and sheet rock…

Yup, home owning, KIND OF sucks. lol.
