Thursday, January 10th, 2008Well, we’ve had an interesting few days!
Want to see what a tornadic sky looks like? You know where I live, it seems to go from drizzle to "run to your basement" within a matter of seconds, that’s what happened Tuesday morning. I got the kids on the bus, and when I came back thru the house I noticed the sky. We have been having bad storms in Oct/Nov the last few years. I cant remember a Jan tornado warning.. but..that’s what we had this week. Anyway, I clicked on the news, yep, tornado warning so I grabbed my camera and headed out on the upper deck. Yea, I’m bright, I know. Metal camera in a thunder storm. BUT, I really wanted to take some pics! Check these out! I added the time stamps for you, because as I walked the upper deck snapping shots it got darker and darker. In 2 minutes the sky went from lovely morning sunrise to BLACK!
Kind of freaky, right?!
Luckily we didn’t have a tornado Tuesday. Just a few funnel clouds. Several people died in MO though, my prayers go out to their families for sure!
Anyway, between the weather, and me still feeling like CRAP, I’ve barely been online this week. I don’t know why but I am SOOOO tired lately. I took like 4 naps yesterday!
Anyhoo,
So, I tried to get my family to do an "Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life" book with me. Out of the 7 people I emailed, did ANY OF THEM participate? Nope. My family sucks. I’m so mad at ALL OF THEM right now, lol.
I did do a layout today, weeeee….
