Yawn….
Friday, June 13th, 2008Not much to blog about. I pretty much got it alllllll out yesturday. LOL…
I did want to post real quick and show you some pics of the kids fishin, as promised!
ohhhhh..
this is kewl here…
our family has been here since, well since it was settled. LOL..
The Smiths and Scotts actually were two of the founding families in Hopkins County. They helped build the town of Nortonville, if you can believe that. My grandmothers, great-great-grandpa *maybe another great in there, I lose track!* built NewSalem Baptist church way back then, and they trenched out, what is NOW Nortonville Lake. My cousin, Mrs Jean, still lives on that lake!
Anyway, I thought this would be neat to show you…
an early photo of the lake…
the lake was made in the early 1800s I think. Its listed as part of the property of a land deed I have so I know it was here in 1810. I also have papers talking about our Smiths/Scotts helping trench a lake on the land, so that would be THIS lake. Made in the early 1800s.
and NOW…
blah blah blah, right? As if you care about my family history. hahaha!
lol..
ok, I did make you a freebie though…
its that rectangle frame up there….
If we were REALLY good friends, I would PROBABLY tell you that those beads you see there, are going to be in my next grab bag. I’d only tell you that if we were really close. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even have any idea I’m working on a new grab bag.
You can download the freebie here
Please do not share my files. They are only free for a limited time and then they go into the bargain bin in the store. If you would like to share it, send your friends to my blog instead!
