How can this be?!  August ALREADY?!  I have to tell you I’m so thankful July is over.  July has got to be the worst month, I swear it!

This month is crazy hectic for us, though!  We have birthdays, back to school, and GASP family get togethers.  BLUCK!

This past week got away from me.  Payroll, store reports, people needing help, web builds, computer rebuilds… seriously, I need about 10 more hours to everyday.

I made it through tho, so far! LOL…

Tomorrow is going to be nuts, we are going to the zoo, back to school shopping *oh, joy of all joys - yes people.  THAT is sarcasm…*

CHALLENGES

All the new Challenges are up at DSO.  YAY!  GO TEAM!  I even DID one today, because I was trying to do a mod to the forum, and the code seriously was making me insane.  I HAD to take a break!  So I finished up a layout I had started earlier in the week.   I had the layout done, but not found the right photo, and when I read Jazz’s new The Photo Op Stop, I KNEW what to do!  THANK YOU JAZZ-a-ma-taz!

I told the DSO girls that I’m a little bummed at the small version because you just can not see all the work I put into altering that photo!  I said after 2 days of layering, blending, tweaking, smudging, highlighting, etc…

see the reflection?  oh yea, I did that! whoot!  the left eye has a little reflection up in the eyelashes where it shouldn’t be, but  the photo is in about 23 or 24 layers.. I couldn’t figure out which one I messed up.  lol  Oh well, I still LOVE IT!

YAY YAY!  The July DSO Card Swap is over.  I shipped out all those cards last week.  I have to tell you how IMPRESSED I am with the cards everyone made.  Most of us are totally new to card making, so the quality of the cards really surprised me!

omg, my computer is as cluttered as my desk!  I just spent 15 minutes looking for that stupid photo! LOL.. Fooouuuunnnnddddd iiiiittttt!  yay me!

CRAFTY GOODNESS

I didn’t find anything good for my craft room renovations this week, I don’t think.   Then again, so much has been going on lately that I wasn’t out looking either.  I did find some good BARGAINS on supplies at Wally though…

that huge pad of paper was clearance at $4.  omg, and see those cute little Dress embellies, .50!  They were marked 1.50 and scanned .50 yay me!  I looked around online, and they are like $4.50 at scrapbook.com so that was a STEAL!  And those foam sticker ma bobs, to give layers a LIFT.. I was just telling Shannon I needed some of those and they were CLEARANCED at .50!  The paint brush pens weren’t clearance but they were in the back to school rollback, and I didn’t have any markers that didn’t come out of the CRAYON BOX, lol.. so I grabbed those.

I also got this awesome tin of gel pens at Biglots, for HALF PRICE ($5) because someone had opened it. LOL..  yay me!
