How was your weekend?  Mine was pretty good!

The man thang had all 3 grills going this weekend, and I am pretty sure he cooked enough to host a block party. LOL…

We had a late lunch with company, and then the men decided to spend the rest of the day watching movies because it was entirely too hot to be outside.

Really, that’s fine.  I love movies.  Unfortunately, I can only take so much Clint Eastwood though.  And if I had to hear  “Right turn Clyde” one more freakin time I was going to gaff myself in the eye with a fork. LOL…

So I called up my Aunt to see if she was home, and loaded up the kids to head to her house.

I LOVE her house.  So pretty.  And she is always changing something or other.  I’m almost scared to touch anything there because its all so nice! hahah!

The kids spent the rest of the day out in the pool having a blast.

There’s my whacky Auntie, watering her flowers.  I don’t know why because I am pretty sure the kids and those water cannons took care of that for her. LOL… 

and what a gracious hostess she was!  She made us a cake!  Didn’t it turn out pretty?!

I spent last night and today themeing her blog for her, so if you get bored, swing by and tell her HI!  Its not scrap-booking related.  She doesn’t even “get” scrap-booking, but she’s a pretty funny lady. lol…  I’m hoping once the “newness” wears off, she’ll loosen up and everyone can get to know the real her.  She is one of the craziest, funniest, deepest people I know!

and look, she sent me home with a parting gift, clipped right out of her flower garden!  Can you say GORGEOUS!
