Our 2 youngest came home with their school pics the other day. Russell filled out the forms and for some odd reason we always choose one of the blue backgrounds from the myraid of color choices. Samara’s was Green! I’m not just talking about a nice subtle green, but more along the lines of the SPRITE PoP Bottle Green! First reaction was to flip my lid, but then when I really looked at it; with her dark complextion, silky black hair and the beautiful turquoise top with the white cami under it, she really POPPED out of the picture. Logan on the other hand…Blue background, black nylon (body sucker athletic type thing) tee/shirt UNDER a white Button Down, Long Sleeve Dress Shirt with all but the top 3 buttons buttoned; and cappped it all of with a loosely worn, black & white checkered tie (think NASCAR-ish). There’s a name for it, I’m just not hip enough to keep up. I took one look and immediatly yelled “LOGAN”. He comes sauntering in with this “gosh darn, gotta love ‘em” grin, and before I can get one word out, he says “pretty cool, huh Mom. Best school pictures I’ve taken to date. Yep, these are real keepers, Mom”. GRRR. He won again and I didn’t even get to say “did your father see what you were wearing on picture day?” Oh no, not one word popped out of my mouth. I have got to get this issue fixed before these two turn 14 in 5 months. A 17 year old driver and 2 13 almost 14 year olds. What were we thinking????

Oh, by the way, Russell did see what he was wearing and like any man, didn’t see anything wrong with it. Lovely!

Bunny why is it that you guys keep getting socked by all of these storms and they never touched us? Louisville was knocked out all week. We sit and watch the radars and the storms look like they’re coming right at us and then all of a sudden, just before the get to Elizabethtown they suddenly V-off going south and north around us until they get to the otherside, then they will close back up again. It’s like being in the middle of the eyeball and everything around us is the upper eyelid and lower eyelid. Weird!!!

I’m only abusing your blog becausing my stupid internet provider decided to block my outgoing mail 2 weeks ago when i sent a bulk mailing to the Band Parents (which I’ve been doing for 4 years now!) and they can’t seem to pull their heads ….. not going there… let’s just say they still haven’t fixed it. I can receive all the email in the world, including JUNK/SPAM - That they won’t/haven’t/don’t…whatever…block. Well, that’s why I’m abusing your blog instead of emailing and chatting with you directly. They’ve taken my first ammendment rights away from me…at least they think…and yes I refuse to open a free yahoo account when I’m PAYIng for one I’ve had since moving here and now I can’t use to send email because I’m…..forget it!

Question: When does your sale end on your Build a Butterfly Templates? I have to wait on Uncle Sam next week. I’m stretching it this month…(Thank you Kim for the Huge unexpected Surprise (not budgeted during Marching season I might add) Bunny, please blame Kim for any and all lack of sales shortages. I knew she was working on a new GB, But Cows already girl! I just wanna know who lit her fire cracker? Wowsers! If that was for 19 years, throw down the anchors for next year, as 20’s gonna come in with high winds and high tides; anything not battened down will whined up in the South of France. Lordy it’ll be a gail!

It’s 4am. I’m still not tired. But I Want to sleep like Normal People. I’m going to be so dead by Saturday and we have to be at Harrison (County i think) High School by 9:30 am for all day comp and finals. Isn’t that on the other side of Lexington? I hate long long long days.
