The easiest way to use my templates I think, is to just print out the instructions and  cut them out (Below).  Then trace them on the paper your wanting to cut out…

Then I layered the template on top of my cut out card stock, and used my bone folder to trace/score the FOLD LINES.

Then I folded in the glue strips on the templates out of the way, and had the proper sizing for the decorative paper.  again, just traced and trimmed.

adhered one side with double sided tape.

Adhered the decorative paper, and since I had so much left over (I was using 12×12 sheets) I added another layer of solid cardstock.  This also helped to reinforce the “lid”

I added my ribbon, and the white cardstock and stamped my sentiment and butterflies.  Then I made my “sweet” bead string and attached it with glue dots.  Not sure where I got those.

I then tied my bow, and sewed it on with the button.  Once it was attached, I glued on some gemmy blingy thingy I had gotten in the bead dept at walmart!

Here’s the underside, you can see the little bit of thread there.  I think the next one I make, I will line the ENTIRE inside with decorative paper…

and here’s the finished project.  The finished bag is 6 1/2 inches tall, 4 and a half inches across the front, and 1 and 3/4 inches thick.  Great for cookies, candies, etc….

Anyhoo, my template will be available as soon as my testers get back to me!  I wanted to make sure it was usable for beginners, paper people, and digi people too!

Have a great Sunday!

Buns, I do want to know how to make your darling bag, but even MORE I want to know how to get the time to make a bag like that. haha!

You blow me away with your talent. You could be locked on a deserted island and I bet you’d make a bag out of palm fronds.

Have a terrific day, ok, just for me. Even if its a crappy day, just make it happy cuz I said you deserve it.

    hugses,
