Well, how bout an update on the bunny…
The kids came in Thurs afternoon and met the bunny, but I wouldnt let them touch it because it hadnt had a bath of been to the vet yet.
(like Bub’s shirt? LOL… he LOVES it and how bout Sis’s outfit? She dressed herself that day. Maroon fluffy sweater and bright ORANGE shorts that say PERFECT in bright purple across the butt. Yea, she matches. LOL!!!!)
Thursday night, I finally got brave enough to really pick it up more then a few inches, and I noticed a little blood on its neck on the underside. We pretty much decided that the neighbors cats must have gotten a hold of it, and that is why it was so easy to catch. So we had plans to take it to the vet first thing Friday morning. Night one went well, it did not escape its box. When I got up at 5:oo I looked in, and it was fine. It had eaten the salad I put in there, and drank most of its water. I took the kids to school, and when I came back in around 7:30 Darrin told me the bunny was dead. I was sooo surprised, because it was ok when I had checked in on it at 5.
So, long story, summarized. Our bunny passed away sometime Friday morning. We almost had it a full 24 hours. Such a short time, and I am REALLY bummed. More then the kids! I really wanted a new baby to play with. *sigh*
On a happier note, I did have a thrifty good find on Monday!

Yes my friends, that is 2 WALMART bags FULL of Stephen King hard backs and paper backs! Yep, BAGS!
Being a Stephen King fan myself, I had a couple of the hard backs already. BUT these were all in LIKE NEW condition! So I switched out my books for better shape ones! Since I am a hardback snob, I didn’t have hardly ANY of the paperbacks! But I did have the Stephen Kings On Writing. I’m thinking about having some kind of little contest here on the blog, and giving the extra copy to the winner. Would anyone be interested in that?
OH!!!!!!!!!! as much as I would love to stay and chat…
American Idol has come on, and according to the commercial FRINGE is back tonight with 6 new episodes! woohoo!!!!! Now THIS makes me HAPP-to the- Y!!!!!

Awww… poor Bunny. Both of you! and while cleaning out my spam folder I found your request to do a guest review on Read it! I would love to if you can tell me where to go or how to do it. I kinda looked around today while reading Jodiann’s and saw in the far right bottom a place to register or login with wordpress. Is that what I need to do? I’ve already gone through the 1st 3 books, Relic, Reliquary and Cabinet of Curiosities. Now reading Still Life with Crows, also by Preston and Childs with Special Agent Pendergast. If you like Stephen King, I’m sure you’ll like these. Let me know.

Yup – you are the Thrifty Queen! Looks like you made quite the haul!
I wish our Freecycle had cool stuff like that – LOL! I was kinda bummed with AI last night, although Yasha and I pretty much knew Scott would be going home. We thought it should have been Lil – she’s done way too much diva-knock-offs in our opinion. But I guess in reality, Scott probably couldn’t compete long-term with Danny and Adam…still a bummer though.

GMTA I guess lol As for the Stephen King Books it looked like you raided my house lol. I have two sets of “The Green Mile” One is the piece by piece set from when it came out and the second set is when they released it all at once – it is still in the original wrap
