How you?

Sorry for the lack of updates.  I have been SOOO busy this past week.  I’ve had, hmm, about 6 service calls (pc repairs) this week, then Easter.  Then yesterday I had a migraine, which ruined the entire day. 

I had to take Sis to school yesterday morning with one eye closed.  Then on the way home I almost got hit because I had to whip the car over to the side and throw the door open to barf.  Aren’t migraine’s wonderful? 

The streets up on Seminary are kind of narrow, because everyone parks on them so the poor guy behind me nearly took off my car door.  He whipped over in front of me and jumped out of his car yelling and cussing me… until he saw me chucking.  Poor guy.  All I remember him saying is “omg, are you going to be ok? do you want me to drive you to the hospital?”  When I finally got the flowage to stop, he followed me home to make sure I got here ok.  I waved to him as I was getting out of the car and he went about his way.  THEN about 10 minutes later, there was a knock on the door, and this sweet heart had stopped up the street and bought me a 2 liter of Sprite and some Migraine Excedrin!  How sweet is THAT?!

I really wish I would have gotten his name, but you know… when your head is exploding you don’t really think in order. LOL  Anyway, I thought I would share that with you because it really seems to me that right when I get to thinking that people – in general – suck,  someone totally sweet comes along and reminds me that there ARE still a few good ones out there.

My friend Sandy and I headed to the Library Friday (or was it Saturday?)  Anyway, they are having a blind auction to raise some money, so we went up there to check it out.  Since I was there anyway, I decided to see what was new in the “for sale” books. YIPPEE.  You know how I love to get hardbacks for .50 a piece. lol… They had a few authors I had never heard of, but several books of theirs.  So I grabbed them up.  A few nerd books, and 2 books on how to UN-clutter your life.

UMMM…

something tells me that STOPPING buying used books all the time would be a good start.  Oh well.  I can live with clutter. LOL.

And then, there is the procrastination QUEEN.  Now, I know you think that is ME but I have to re-introduce you to my friend Sandy.  {WHO is FINALLY getting internet for the first time in her life on Wednesday!!!!  YAY!} 

She showed up late Sunday night to… DO HER TAXES!  Nothing like waiting till the last minute!  Or more to the point, have ME do her taxes.  So I did what any good friend would do.  Hooked the laptop up at Sis’s craft center and made that procrastinating cow do her taxes her SELF! lol…  yea, she loves me.

The last of the tomato updates.  I hope.  As long as it does not rain today, they will finally be getting their permanent home on Wednesday.  We are going to be out a tillin’ in the yard and planting on Wed.  Well, Darrin is going to till.  Then he has to load up the mower and go mow Granny’s yard down in Mortons.  I will be planting while he’s gone doing that. I’m trying to work out in my head how I want them in the garden.

Look at Sweetz with her baby! lol.

She has never taken to a toy before.  But now that she is almost 10, she has finally found one she LOVES.  Santa brought her a big rope to chew on with stuff in it to make her breath better.  And she likes it.  But he also brought her this little squeaking squirrel and man, she packs this thing everywhere!  So we call it her baby.  She just loves it, and “cleans” it for hours at a time.  And if she hasn’t seen it in a while, when she stumbles upon it she just pounces and is sooo pleased!  I’ve even caught her trying to sneak it outside with her to go potty!  lol…

I honestly don’t know how she sees to walk anywhere, as you can see its about as big as her face. LOL  To see her walking with it is hilarious.  She bumps into stuff, and snorts snorts snorts because the little tail hairs get in her nose. LOL!!!

anyway…

Im outtie.  I have tons of email to weed through since I wasn’t online yesterday.
