I swear I have really been trying to post for the last few days.  Everything just seems to have exploded in my life lately.  In fact, I’m  not even supposed to be home right now, but it looks like I’m not going so woohoo!

Since my last post,  We have moved my gran to a bigger apartment.  YAY. 

I have started making her birthday present, which I must say was a lot simpler to construct in my head.  Holy Crikes.  I’m starting to wonder if its a lost cause and I should just go buy her something.  But she is turning 80 and has everything she needs so what the crap would I go buy.  UGH. family sucks.

what all has been going on? hmmm..

Well, I have been doing computer repairs left and right the last few weeks.  Which I am grateful for, truly.  That money sure is helping in the bills department.

One day, don’t remember which, I had a sweet tooth and constructed some yummy peanut butter cookies from scratch and got creative and added some m&m’s.  I guess they were YUMMO because they lasted less then 48 hours.  Sadly they were GONE before I got all the flour off the cabinets.  LOL.. again I say.. families SUCK lol

I have gotten a few books to review.  YAY.  I found a program where publishers will send you books FREE to review for them.  YEP.  You read that right F-R-E-E 

I started Face of Betrayal yesterday.  It’s really good so far.  Already on like page 160.  Will post a review for you once its done. (and the obligatory one on Amazon.) 

I also occasionally get free ones from the librarything.com site.  This Gray Apocalypse  was in my mailbox today.  WOOHOO!  Love librarything Its like goodreads.com but on steroids.  LOVE IT.

and yes, I have put Brisingr down for the time being.  This reading 2 pages and falling asleep is NO GOOD. lol..

Look at poor Sis’s school pics .  Im soooo bummed!  Her lips are so chapped.  It’s really not even her lips, its AROUND her lips.  She has taken to sucking on the neck of her shirt while sitting around and its ruining her lovely little face.  I don’t know what to do to make her stop!

AND I cant decide if I should buy these pics and scan and touch them up or not.  I hate the thought of not having school pics this year but geeze.  I didn’t even know it was picture day so she wasn’t even dressed up!

Everything with my new business is moving right along.  Well, it WAS anyway. 

There are several new things coming up for me, as my computer repair and classes have really taken off this last few months.  I told you all a few weeks ago, there were some big things coming up for me.  Actually publicizing my Computer Classes for Adults class is part of that.  I am really excited about it.  It is so wonderful to see the look of PRIDE when an elderly person “gets” their computer.  The fear of “breaking it” goes away and their eyes light up.  It feels freakin’ FANTASTIC!

These are some flyers I made and then ordered thinking I could not print good ones here at home and MAN did they come back bad.  In the world of printing you REALLY DO get what you pay for.  I could have done better myself!  Lesson learned.  Check out the bleeding!

and a good note though…

my business checks and address labels for “the BIG thing” came and are PERFECT!  YIPPEE!!  Well, they are NOW.  Needless to say a few phone calls were made over the incorrect routing numbers on my checks! YIKES!
