“You done yet?”

Do you know how many emails I have gotten this week starting out with that line?  Let me just say, umm…

f*&% NO! *&^%&^ *^%&*  !@)@)(*# &#(^@@%$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sigh*

Let me take you on a little adventure.  Lets call it… “The Renovating Week from H3ll” shall we?

So the hubs goes on vacay starting last Friday – which meant all week was going to be painting, rearranging, etc etc… 

He came home Fri morning fit to be tied!  See, normally they put your vacation pay on the check you get before your vacay starts right?  Well someone didn’t file paperwork right, so the hubs got no extra funds!  What does that mean?  Well, that means no school clothes got bought this week,  no annual family trip to the zoo,  etc etc… that also meant NO money for painting or furniture for the studio!  I was devastated!!!

Luckily, some web-work fell in my lap (ok, it didn’t FALL more like I made a phone call and basically CRIED and pledged my allegiance for a lifetime of unlimited servitude.) and it was going to be enough for paint and some of the furniture I had already put on hold! 

I started to put the studio off again because I hate to NOT have a family day while the hubs is on vacation.  But, he is right… if I don’t do the studio NOW, I don’t know when I ever will and I cant have classes without the studio and if I cant have classes I’m not making money, sooo…  I need to invest this money to be able to make money.  Yep, you know the old saying – it takes money to make money…

So I had the money for the shiz, right… well ummm… it wont stop RAINING!!!

The hubs says its no good to paint if its raining outside.  So, ok, here I am with the money for my shiz but I cant do anything about it!

Ok so here comes the FUN stuff, ready?

I was walking downstairs talking on the phone Mon or maybe it was Tuesday night – real late like 3am… I missed a step and went all the way down on my fat ass.  So my back has been killing me.  You would think with all that padding back there I would’ve just bounced on …. but. no.  So this was not a good beginning.  An omen, or JUST a mishap?

lets examine this further shall we?

I went and got the paint from Lowes.  You’re going to love this… read on my friends!

I chose this lovely green moss.  It is a match to Mellow Moss from Stampin’ Up! even though it doesn’t really look like it on this scan…

Opened the paint up this morning {it wasn’t raining yet}, and it was some bright ass orange in there!!  UMMM what?!  They had given me someone else’s paint!  So I went back up there to get my paint and get this…  “Ma’am {don’t call me ma’am you shithead!} – we can not exchange on custom mixed paint.”  Oh the h3ll you say!  It took like 20 minutes to get these a$$holes to realize that they gave me someone ELSE’s PAINT!  I kept saying, I know what your policy is, but THIS is not the paint you mixed for ME!  ughhhhhh!!!  The girl that mixed my paint walked by and I yelled at her to come up there, and threw my color swatch at her.  She remembered mixing my paint because she pinched her finger when she put the lid back on.  They finally mixed me some more and I swung by and picked up SOME of my shelving on the way home…

Why Bunny, why do you say “SOME” like that?  hmmmm…

hold on ladies {and gents} here we go…

ok, so eariler this week, the same day I fell down the steps… I went to see about this furniture.  I told the guy, it would be Friday (which would be tomorrow) before I could come in and get the stuff I just wanted to make sure they had what I needed etc…

and one of these stand, though I really would enjoy that there tv too! lol..

“Oh yes ma’am {dont call me ma’am cupcake!} we just got our truck and there are 6 of those, 8 of those” etc etc… “No need to put them on hold, they wont sell out that fast…”

UMMM…..

lets just say – I came home with the 4 cube cabinets today and everything else is now on ORDER!

So now I’m downstairs pouting because: here it is THURSDAY and I cant paint (hub’s vacay is over Sunday!)  Cant move the office until after its painted downstairs.  Cant move Bug’s room until I move the office.  Cant move Bub’s room till I move Bug’s and paint.  Cant move the hub’s computer shiz until I move Bub’s and paint.  See the problem I have here?

So I’m sitting downstairs really pouting.  I’m not making that up.  Ok, I was more pout / bitching… because I have a ton of things to do and this is the hub’s showing his concern  [sidenote:  if your man has not discovered the mind meld that is WoW – do everything in your power to KEEP it from happening.  THIS is all he thinks about…]

yep, that b@st@rd is seriously enjoying every moment of his vacay! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so I’m sitting over by my new shiz, what there was of it…

when for no reason other then I was going to stare at my new shelves, so I opened the box and low and behold… its the WRONG f’in shelves in there there!  They were this light brown…. cheap @ss looking….{insert beep beep bleeeeeeeeeeeeeep here}

omg, seriously feeling a stroke coming on.  Not making that up people.  If I cant paint tomorrow, you will find me huddled in the corner of a closet somewhere sucking my thumb and petting an old shoe I will have just named Sookie.  “Isn’t she puh-ritty!??” 

LOL!!

*sigh*

Im off – let’s see what I can f-up with supper tonight…

We were peeking at school clothes, since that starts back on the 12th, and I was really surprised.  I kept seeing Scrapbook patterns everywhere!  Does this shirt not SCREAM scrap paper?!

Ok, so Im sure this video automatically started, because I don’t know how to NOT make it auto start.  Start it again.

A bunch of you keep emailing saying you want to get into paper crafting but its so expensive, well ummm…  BIGLOTS is rockin the scrap crap right now!  Check it out!

Yes Yes, I know it is DCWV.  I dont know WHY I can never say it right!  and OMG, you can tell when I get excited, I hope all the wiggling around doesn’t make you sick. LOL!!!

So umm, I’ve been googling to see how good of a deal today REALLY was…  here is some comparisons for you:

Couldn’t find the Jacqueline Addison Papers (the birthday and travel packs)
Pressed Petals (the glittery butterfly paper etc) apparently is owned by DCWV!  YIPPEE!!!  Cant find as a pack, but sold at .80/each as open stock!  I paid $5 for 20/sheets!  Will go back for more of those!

OH, they also had a bunch of NEW Martha Stewart stuff, as in… He was trying to get it out of the boxes and I was pushing him out of the way to see what he was putting out! LOL…  Need to google pricing on that, and will probably go back, because it was big spools of ribbon for like $2, and I think I saw some PUNCHES in the bottom of that box!  Yahoo!!!   $40 left in my monthly crafting budget, how will I spend it? hmmmmmmmmmm….
