Author: so today has been non-stop! KimB is seriously cracking my own whip back at me today! Just look at the proof!
PROOF I have been busy, I say! Now put that whip away! lol…
anyhoo, took a little break from admin duties at DSO to chat on the phone with Mrs. Linda and do a little hybriding.
Hybrid WHAT? you are wondering..
well, this.
I made this card using the “Harmony” kit by Randi Oh! I just loved the vintage feel to the kit, and the name didn’t hurt either! hehehe!
I made my flower by cutting out and inking a flower from newspaper. Used a flower punch from Stampin’ Up! ENCORE GOLD ink, and TEMPTING TURQUIOS and GARDEN GREEN spots from Stampin’ Up!
Traced the words with a black Spica pen, and the branch and fly with gold Spica {they are both ON SALE right now for 20% off! Click their SPOT to go buy!!! }
A little Stampin’ Up! Crystal Effects on the pearls on the fly because, well… I was on the phone and it was within reach, and my pearls were all the way on the other side of the room. LOL…
YES, I am THAT lazy.
No seriously, my phone wouldn’t reach and I wanted to get it DONE. kwim?
anyway… wah-lah…
I was going to do tutorial on how I made the flower , but wasn’t sure if anyone would be interested in making their own flowers with old newspapers. If you want to see it just leave me a “Yes Please” and I will get it on for you…
Ok, Im outtie… those new girls are backing up the Quality Department something fierce! LOL

Well, gosh girl! You could have been out in the garden mixing seed for all I knew, but OH NO, I got to talk to you with ink all over your face!!! LOL! 
Bunny, your card is BEAUTIFUL and YES PLEASE, I want to learn how to make my own flowers out of newsprint!!! PRETTY, PRETTY PLEASE!
