When I posted my newest card yesterday, several folks requested a tutorial on creating these vintage style flowers out of old newspapers.

So today’s tutorial will walk you through creating these type of flowers using old newspaper and other supplies you may have on hand.

For this project you will need:

colored ink (I used Stampin’ Up!)
metallic ink (I used ENCORE INK)
hole punch (I used Stampin’ Up!)
a paperclip or bone folder
an old newspaper

anyhoo, pop over there and give it a gander if you’re into that kind of stuff. If there is any thing you would like a tut on just pop it in the comments, and I’ll try to get it on for you!

Netflix loves me.

I love sending what we have back on Fridays, because then I can put stuff that is coming out the following Tuesday next in my queue and the new releases are in my mailbox on Tuesday morning! This week, we got the Watchmen (bo-ring) but we also got Coraline! I swear, I have watched this thing like 10 times already! Sis watched it with me the first few times. She said it is scary, but it ends sooo good! lol..

So we give Coraline, two thumbs up (well 4 if you count Bugs). Definitely on my TO BUY list.

and on top of how fantastic Coraline was,
look at THIS preview that was on the beginning of the DVD!!!

OMG, I CANT WAIT for 9!!!

ok, I think Im going to start supper, and watch Coraline one more time before sending it back.

we watched Coraline too. My kids loved it! While I was watching it, I realized that I hadn’t really watched any of the previews only the animation from afar and thought it looked cute. I had no idea what the story was about. It was interesting and cute!

I totally send our movies back so we can get the new ones on Tuesday too! hahaha

Oh I know! The new movie 9 looks really cool. Can’t wait for the Wild Things too! My kids are excited about it
