Just reposting from the DSO BLOG, so forgive me if you read it over there…

After much thought, conversation, and prayer I have decided I will not be renewing the hosting for DSO  at the end of October.  The more I have thought on it, the more clear the decision for me has become. 

Many factors play in my decision including financial and personal reasons.  The most obvious being my health, as you all know I have not been well the last few months.  And though it is nothing “life” threatening it is really beating me down physically and emotionally.   That plus really, my overall change of "interest".   Honestly, I would really like to focus more on a paper crafting “type” business, though that really doesn’t describe what I want to do either. ha.   I can’t really do anything until I get better, and really worrying about DSO is a huge drain on me. 

I have had many conversations about what would happen to my wonderful team if I closed, and honestly its the only thing that has kept DSO open this long.   I hope whoever the new owner is, if there is one, will keep them on as designers because they’re really a fantastic group of ladies, who work very hard to keep things running smoothly.  I’ve been around digiscrapping for a while now, and though most sites CLAIM it, DSO really IS a TEAM! 

So, DSO’s up for sale, and maybe someone – or one of you, will buy it and carry it on in good tradition.  This offer will remain on the table until October 15th.

DSO currently uses photopost and vbullettin as the gallery/forum, since they are on a separate server they will not be included.  Though they are NOT included in the sale, I would happily include a current version of the database so there would be no data loss in resetting them up on this server, if requested.

domain names: digiscrapobsession.com and digiscrapobsession.net are not included in the sale, but can be purchased separately IN ADDITION to the website.  I will NOT sell JUST these 2 domain names.  They will be sold to the new site owner, or they will stay with me.
