AHH- now you have me all melancholic again! I remember those times too- on the farm, NO LIGHTS even- we used a generator or candles, a potty under the bed if you were too scared to do the long night walk to the long drop – lol ( I made the long drop and used to hold Gayes hand to take her too
But OH it was PEACEFUL! Not even an electric hum in the air- no TV, we played cards or scrabble or did puzzles and actually READ!
Got up before the sunrise to go help milk the cows ( yeah I know how to do that- lol), back to separate it for the days use. Make butter FRESH!
The smells of fresh baking bread, slow cooked meals on a WOOD stove- there’s nothing in the world like it!
arrgh see- now your have me rambling up this box-

I looked and looked and I only have ONE pic from there. And it’s you standing next to a yellow car, taken from down the hill where Dad had put the basketball goal and swingset.

I wish I could find one of the house, and that fire pit we used to grill in. Man, I loved that house even though it was tiny as a shoebox.

Now THAT was Bunny, not some crap. Beautiful blog and made me remember the house and that place. I even have some pictures made out there. My kids used to love to go there and play. By the way, MY kids still love “somewhat” in the country. (No street lights or CLOSE neighbors). Love you
