Pugging around and dinner
Today kind of stank.
That’s how you want a post to start out isn’t it? lol. Sorry, you know me. I just HAVE to be honest. It did.
My Grandmothers funeral was today. I was sad. So I slept. Almost all day. Literally. More on Grandma Nay another day. Not today.
I got up and got the kids off to school then, since my head hurt, I climbed back in bed for what I thought was going to be another hour or so of sleep. At noon, as if an alarm clock sounded, I woke up. Yes. NOON.
So there you have it. I slept until NOON. Twelve-o-OH!
It was so hot when I got up, my head was killing me, and I am still freaking sick. UGH. I just wish my voice was back and my throat didn’t hurt. Oh, and not gagging every time I cough – that would be a bonus! To top THAT off, now Sis is getting it. OY!
I ended up watching Neverending Story, and thinking about going to get my kids from school early. I really missed them today. Look, tears. Today sucked.
Good things did happen though.
I spent the day loving on these guys since they were available.
Sometimes all it takes is a nuzzle from her…
and some slobber luv from him…
and for that minute – everything is just FINE.
I sat out on the deck and watched a lot of this…
and it was HOT. I mean the kind of hot where there doesn’t seem to be any air. But he was too cute…
and I just couldn’t go in for a while… couldn’t risk missing this…
or laughing at her sprawled out like this…
sometimes I think they know when something is not right. Because he sure has been clingy today…
thats ok, I luv him. He “gets” me, and we get along just fine.
After I picked up SIs from Math Team I set out to cook supper. I like cooking, lately sometimes, it helps me take my mind off things. Its easy. Its rewarding, or I should say it CAN BE. lol..
Tonight I made these:
and you can find the recipe here:
http://www.bunnycates.com/recipes/2010/04/barbque-cheddar-balls/
but now its late…
So me, and my new glasses ( I’ll save that story for another day ) are going to lay down and read a book until we are fast asleep. It is after 1am here already, ya know….
Nighty Night
still sick and busy work…
ugh, why is it when you’re sick that EVERYTHING seems to pile up?
I’ve been so busy the last few days, I haven’t had time to hardly BREATH! My only pc time is late late at night when everyone is passed out. Unfortunately, staying up that late to fiddle faddle is making me feel like crap. LOL!
Today I am knee deep in laundry, trying to get the studio picked up, and trying to get caught up with some online stuff. I don’t know if you can tell but Im in the middle of rebuilding here on bunnycates.com and also over on DSO. It’s taking toooo much of my time and my patience! LOL!!!!!!
We took a break from everything yesterday to enjoy the end of my kids’ SPRING BREAK by having a “family day”.
We went to the last matinee of “How to Train Your Dragon”.

I have to admit I really liked it!
I, again, found myself a little sad that our town does not have a 3D theater. This theater is really kind of new, I’m surprised we don’t have at least ONE in there. Even so, the animation and detail was amazing! I didn’t really like the Night Fury Dragon’s face. It looked a bit like the 2 headed skink at our zoo. LOL! I like my dragon’s to look, atleast, well… dragony. LOL!
I loved the story, the moral being – Its ok to be different. I was like YES!
My favorite parts of the movie where when they would tell Hiccup, yes that is the boys name LOL! (Sadly, believable with celebrities naming their kids the likes of Apple and Inspektor.)
Gobber: If you ever want to get out there to fight dragons… You need to stop all… this.
*does the hand motion to encompass Hiccups whole body*
Hiccup: But… you just pointed to all of me.
Gobber: Yes… That’s it… Stop being all of you!
(Gobber is Craig Ferguson, so imagine that with Craig saying it. You know how funny he is when he gets on a little tirade…)
There were all ages of kids in the theater when we went. Considering the movie has been out for awhile I was really surprised how many people were there. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. There was a little one maybe 4ish behind us and I can tell you he LOVED it! Everytime “Toothless” would be on screen he would squeal and giggle “ooooo tooflist!” LOL It was great and REALLY made me miss having a little one around. Sis and Bub both liked it too, which made me HAPPY. It’s hard to find a movie that falls into both their age ranges (14 & 9), kwim? At the end, something kind of sad/scary happens that made Sis throw her hands up over her eyes so hard I heard it “SLAP”… LOL! Can’t tell you what, dont want to ruin the movie for anyone but what happened next made all the adults clap. “yay!” and Sis uncovered her eyes with a HUGE smile. YAY!!!!!!!! LOL!
I didn’t know anything about who was doing the voices, but as the movie got going I could pick out a few and I was proud of them for doing a kids movie! Craig Ferguson is hilarious with his timing and delivery, and Gerard Butler was really believable. LOL We say, two thumbs up! Take your fam, its fun and you’ll like it.

Which way is up?
For reals y’all…
I have so much “half done” stuff right now it is unreal. I really can’t tell you which way is up!
I am really trying to get on a set schedule with the stores so I can have some set time for ME to get some projects done, it’s just NOT working out that way. Every time I look at email someone is needing SOMETHING and you just cant schedule that, kwim? Customers first, family stuff second, TO DO lists third, then me. Unfortunately ME always falls when my eyes are drooping and slobber starts to roll out of my mouth. LOL…
What all have I been up to? Lets see…
I read HORNS by JOE HILL, but haven’t had time to add my review for it yet.
I answered a few emails over on the DSO BLOG From the Mailbag – to credit or not to credit
We added a new designer to the vault this weekend…
Caryn of Color With Caryn and she has a TON of stuff coming to the Vault as soon as it gets through the quality check queue. She sure is making us work overtime! LOL!!!!!!!
Easter came and went, and I didn’t even take ANY photos! We didn’t do anything special this year. I just made a ham, deviled eggs, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and rolls. Oh and I cooked the most perfect chocolate pies! It was the first time in my life that I put a pie in the oven and didn’t SPILL it! I was so proud of myself. I can’t believe I didn’t take any pics!
I’ve been doing a few challenges, but the layouts aren’t done yet.
And I started a mini-album, also NOT finished.
Cutting out these little brackets at 4 x 4 is hard on the hands! This is just the cover, I still need to Utee the heart on a stick…

ok, I gotta run. Im getting the HUNGRY evil eye from 2 kids, 2 pugs, and a tall skinny & scary man. LOL!
Hope you had a great Easter weekend!
