Hi there!

My name is Bunny Cates, Im the owner of http://www.digiscrapvault.com/ and http://www.digiscrapobsession.com/ as well as my own site http://www.bunnycates.com/ and I’m so honored to be the first Store Owner Interview on DigiScrapMap!

I wanted to take a few minutes and invite YOU to join our first show which is going to be live on the Digiscrapmap site, and where YOU can participate in the interview by asking questions and joining in the fun.

I’ve played with graphics and web design for as long as I can remember and became a digiscrapper in 2004.  It wasn’t long before I was designing my own scrap supplies and teaching others how to digiscrap with Paint Shop Pro.  Shortly after that, I ended up owning and running DigiScrapObsession.  So I’ve been around the digiscrap community for quite a while. 

I hope you will stop into our LIVE CHAT on Friday, July 2nd at 9pm CST over on www.DigiScrapMap.com  Hummie will be interviewing me and we’ll be taking questions from the "audience" (the chatroom, lol).  I’m planning on having a few "door prizes" and a contest giveaway.  So I hope you will pop in!  You can ask me anything from digiscrap questions to software questions or even questions about what its like to be IN "the business".

Morning!

Its another Five Fact Friday!  And I actually have time to make the post, the kids are still sleeping!  I thought today we would do another Favorite Things, today being CRAFTS edition.  I have tons of projects I need to get done THIS WEEKEND so the topic is fitting for me! I would REALLY love to see what some of your FAVORITE THINGS are!

Five Fact Friday is pretty simple.  I’ll post a “theme” each week and you blog it, come back here and link it up, and you can visit the other folks who played along too.  Sound like fun?

Todays 5 Fact Friday,  post 5 Things you just LOVE from your CRAFT STASH!  Go on!  Show em if ya got em!

1. for me has to be my Corner Chomper!

   I love this thing and use it on TOO much stuff. lol!  Apparently Sis loves it too, because it’s NEVER where it is supposed to be.  I usually find it over on her side of the crafting table.  rofl.  Basically, the corner chomper is just an easy way to round corners on projects.  It even has these little bins on the sides that catch the cut off bits so there is NO MESS.

2. Inkssentials Blending Tool (I actually sell these HERE)

   Actually, I tend to use the felt pads, not the foam but I end up using it on just about every project!  I love to “grunge” up the edges with a little ink spillage on the edge and just over.  The tool works with every ink I’ve tried: Distress, SU!, Colorbox, even that thick Encore!

3. Tim Holtz Paper Distresser

   OK, I must admit.  I probably use this more then I should but I love it!   You just scrape your paper through one of the grooves and those little blades in there will ruff it right up for you.  Great for “grunging” or “antiqueing” up the edges.  Warning though, once you start, you cant stop!  LOL!!!!!!

4. Aqua Glue!  (I sell this too, but am sold out right now.)

   My most favorite adhesive EVER.  You can totally be messy with it and it doesnt matter because it dries CLEAR.  It has two tips, a tiny one for when you only need a drop, and a big one for when you REALLY want to stick stuff, (like a mat or card front).  I haven’t had anything fall off yet after using this glue either, which is more then I can say for those glue runners from walmart I used to use. BOOO walmart! BOOOO!!!!!!!

5. Grid Lined Stamp Block

   omg, seriously, dont know how I ever stamped straight without this.  I luv luv LOVE that I can line the grid up with the grid on my cutting mat too!  BUT you dont have to have a cutting mat to do straight lines!  The grid helps you mount the stamps straight and then you can line the grid up with the edge of your paper or WHATEVER.  Since buying these guys the only time I use the other block I have (no lines) is when the stamp is too freaking big for these.  Seriously!  LOVE THESE!

Im out.  Its after 5, I have supper to make.  Still need to make 2 birthday cards and 4 ATC cards, try to come up with some stuff for a bonus something or other going on somewhere special next month when we reopen something so that it will be easier to do fun stuff like the something we got planned for sometime soon, like next month.
