ok, I have to say it. Today blows.
I started feeling like I was going to get a headache last night. Anyone who gets migraines can tell you, you FEEL them BEFORE they come. Usually, I can take my prescription when I feel one coming on and it stops it. BUT… the down side to that is, the pills really knock me out. So me and the kids were all in bed by 8:30 last night. They were mad they had to go to bed 30 minutes early, but I just could not keep my eyes open. I woke up around 2 with a full blown migraine. I laid there cryin’ my eyes out for about 20 minutes, then Bug woke up and rushed me another tablet and a bottle of water. Such a sweet lil monkey. So after a little Bug lovin’ and a second dose of migraine meds, I finally fell back asleep. She is so good at massaging my temples. I think she should be a masseuse or a therapist when she grows up!
Anyway, after that crap of a night, of course we overslept this morning. We woke up to Bub telling us “Bye”. Huh? That little turd got up on time and didn’t bother to wake us up, so Bug missed the bus!
So today is a Rain Crappy day, and neither one of us wanted to get up. We finally got up at like 6:40 (the bus runs at 6:30) And it was still completely BLACK outside! No wonder we didnt wiant to get up. Bad night+rain+DARK and COLD outside = SLEEEEEEPPPPPP INNNNNNNN…… lol..
So I took Bug to school, though we got to the school about 5 minutes before the bell rang, she was actually LATE getting IN the school. *sigh*
Today was show n tell day, and she had 10 tons of CRAP to pack in the school for her “project” about Barbie. I ended up having to get out of the “drop off lane” and PARK so she could get all her crap together.
THEN….
she went in the school, and I went to restart the car and NOTHING. No clicky, no noise, no sputter…. NOTHING. So there I sat in the dark, in the rain, in my car….. *CURSES!!!!!!*
One of Bugs friends MOM was driving by and gave me a lift home. Thanks “Hannahs Mom”!
Poor hubby. He worked a 14 hour shift last night, then had his last college class straight away this morning. He will be home in about an hour, and I’m sure he is just going to love the fact that he has to go get my car from the school.
Anyway, so today is just crappy.

I was sitting here cleaning off my desk, when I realized I really do keep EVERYTHING! I have a stack of old “packs” with recipes on them waiting to be written in my recipe book. LOL… I STACK of old FOOD PACKAGES! hahah! Why I do not have rats hoarding in the depths of my office amazes me. LOL… anyway, I thought I would share one with ya today!
This is off a Budding brand Corned Beef package. I love this brand for my Snowman Cheeseball, and I remember fixing to toss the package in the trash when I noticed a recipe on the back! I need to start checking packages better, I’m sure I have tossed a billion recipes away without even noticing them! Do you save recipes? Do you remember to look before tossing?
*yawn* man today just stinks. I really think I could just go back to bed.
