what a crazy day

wow.  today has been, to say the least crazy.  first thing out, i overslept.  yep.  that left the man-thang to get the kids ready for school.  now he is not the friendliest of friendlies early in the am.  this of course, sent the kids off on a bad note.  i was sure i was going to get a call from the school.  ok so i overslept. like i said.  fell asleep with a book on my face.  i dont remember putting it there. shock among shocks it was still there when i woke up this morning.  way to look out for me man-thang.  i would have at LEAST taken the book off his face.  if he knew how to read anything other then playboy, i mean.  jerk.

anyway, i definitely started the day out foul.  i went into the office and worked for all of about 10 minutes when i decided i just needed a bit more sleep, so i climbed back into bed.  with my sleep mask on, and my trusty fan blowing in the false darkness, i crept off into la-la land and managed to somber away another couple of hours.  of course when i woke up i felt like i had been struck by truck.  tapped and slowly drug across loose gravel for a good quarter mile.  at this point i was well aware that today was going to blow.

i put on coffee, and it was already after 10.  i dont know why i even bothered.  one look in the pending products folder told me i wasnt going to accomplish a damn thing today either.  damn having to work.  dammit.  yea, i said it. damn damn damn.

i already felt like crap so i thought what the hay.  threw on some tennis and a extra firm sports bra (because i do hate the jiggle) and got on the treadmill.  i was already having a shit day so doing a little mill could HURT right?  im slowly coming to the conclusion that GOD himself does not want me on a treadmill.  i have no clue where exactly he does want me, but on the treadmill definitely is NOT the place.  why am i so sure? why? well i will tell you.  about 10 minutes into the view i got the giggles at whoopi, missed a step, and damn near ripped a foot off.  not only did my foot go off the side of the mill part, but it went down on its side.  as in a stepped down on my ankle bone instead of the bottom of my foot.  so now i have this burn/roadrash/ruff patch from my ankle bone straight down to the floor.

so ok.  treadmill was out and my foot was hurting like hell.  now what.  no way out of it, i was going to have to work.  i did manage to add something like 15 products to the shop for kimmie

i did get one bit of good news today.  my lil bug has had some artwork chosen to be included in an exhibit in an art gallery.  how awesome is that.  my 8 year old ar-teest.  i wish you could have seen her come squealing in from school screaming for me to “sign it sign it” and then tossing a stack of permission forms and releases so her work could be included.  the exhibit is on the 20th.  so i will post some pics after that.  i am not even sure which pics she submitted.  she is very good and im not just saying that.  she has full tablets of clothes designs actually, so “art” wasnt what i thought she was interested in.  im now really wondering if she will be artistic or a seamstress when she grows up.  or maybe some how find a way to merge the two.

anyway, that good news perked me up.  so i took a hot showa’ and got my nails did.  ok, i did them myself, but they are did none the less.  now, aside for my ankle burn i’m feelin fine, and finally here at bed time the day is perking up!

lol.

wow i cant believe i just rambled my day out for you.  but, i do feel better.  so if you read the whole post.  thanks for listening! hahah.  sorry for the lack of caps.  my left shift key is hanging on my new laptop already, and of course i can not make my pinky use the right one.  i’ll pop off my keys tomorrow and clean the board.  hopefully that will help.

oh, before i go two no three things.

1 – follow me on twitter, i love chatting on there.  its way better then facebook.  im @bunnycates

2 – i started a reading log/blog here also.  www.bunnycates.com/reading   not much there yet but i hope to fill it quickly.  i would love for you guys, my friends, to write guest reviews too.  kimmie? mrs miles?  anyone who would like to write reviews on what you have read is welcome.  i hope it will become a mini community for those of us who enjoy reading.  with a variety of genres, not just what i like.

3 – lastly… speaking of reading… joe hill, author of Heart-Shaped Box  and 20th Century Ghosts is having a “Love Your Indie: The Contest” contest.   basically you buy a book from NOT a big named book store and send in your receipt to enter.  luv’in him. go joe go.

just a Library thing…

So I’m sitting here tonight, staring at my LibraryThing profile and it has become painfully obvious that I never post why I like a book, or don’t.

I’m bummed.

So now I’m thinking I should read everything again.  Yep, start all over.  It seems unfair to go in and write any recommendations now, years after the fact.  So, I think I will.  Yes, I’m going to do it.  I, procrastinator extraordinaire, am going to DO IT.  Re-read my library.

Now the question becomes, should I delete my book list on LibraryThing, and repost them as I read them.  This seems like the easiest way for me to keep track of what I have read, and have not.  The laziness in me is screaming that is overkill.  Why delete them?  What if 2 books in, I decide I suck and stop re-reading?  Seriously, if it sucked the first time am I going to enjoy reading it AGAIN?  I don’t think so.  Or will I?

Yes my friends.  This is me tonight.  Doing everything in my power to NOT do anything that is on my “to do” list.  **ck that list!  I wish to be freeeeeee!!!!!!!  roflmao.

off to play on Twitter.  Who knows, maybe I’ll even pick up a book.  Yes, really.

Hollah………
