The new challenges are up!!! The new Challenges are up!!! And this month, I’m hosting one too! WOOHOO!
I wanted to do something different this month, so I’m trying out a DIGITAL ATC CHALLENGE! I hope you pop over to the NEW DSO CHALLENGE BLOG and join me!
An ATC {Artist Trading Card} is a little mini work of art, that folks just kind of trade around and collect. Each one original to the artist that created them. I thought it would be uber fun to combine traditional ATC’s with digi-scrapping. We’ll see how it goes over!
For this month’s challenge I chose “Fiction + Diction” as the theme. Here was what I came up with. You got a sneak peek of it yesterday, remember?
I used the angel wings from KimB’s Christmas First kit, and the butterflies were stock images, the definition is from Webster’s Dictionary. I Spica glittered the butterfly wings, and adhered the whole mess with AQUA glue by TOMBOW. I used dimensionals to pop the definition up off the card, and I sanded all edges with a sanding block, then I inked them up with some VINTAGE PHOTO DISTRESS ink.
What do you think?
I hope you decide to play along, you don’t have to PRINT yours to play. Digital is fine. Participants will get this paper pack as a posting bonus:
PLUS one random person that plays is going to get a bit of “candy” too! Nothing major, but free is free, right?
Now, get over to the NEW DSO CHALLENGE BLOG and join me!
I mean it!

Motivation Monday
So, I thought this would be a fun “mojo” day! How about from now on {if I can remember to post it!} on Monday we all show what we’re working on! Take a shot of your computer, your craft area, your desk… whatever – just show off what your working on today! I’m thinking seeing everyone being busy and/or creative will be a motivational driver for the rest of us!
So here’s my Motivation Monday – 002
I’m finishing up some stuff for my “Bug”. I can’t really go into detail about what all this stuff is, other then to say it will be 100% clear what all that is in TOMORROWs post! LOL!
So how bout you? What are YOU working on today? Take a pic, blog it, and come on back here and link it so we can come see!

and then…
You know how I say most of the things I make are things I needed for myself? Well that is true, and out of that need I made these brushes. LOL…
I know you probably don’t realize it, but it’s nearly time for the “Christmas Nazi” to return. Yep, that would be me. From Dec 1st to about Dec 26th, all I can think about is Christmas. I love it and I hate it. I’m so conflicted! The tree, the gifts, the food, the CARDS… omg, the cards. Last year I got called “Hitler BoJingles”, ha. Hey, I never said my kids were on the NICE list. LOL!
Anyway, I thought this year it would be really funny to chronicle my December. Each day, a little something on what I did that day, counting down to my relief, errrr, I mean Christmas. So that’s what these brushes are. 26 journaling box brushes starting with 25 and counting down to THE BIG DAY.

AND
After my post the other day, where I showed you my Christmas Card for this year
I got several “requests” for it. So I talked to Kimmers and got the A-OK to give you guys a printable of it!
Its super easy to use, just pop your photo UNDER it, and print!
This file is 10 x 7. Once scored, it will make a 5 x 7 photocard!
I printed mine on heavy cardstock, and then trimmed off the excess. Then I added a little glitter to mine with Spicca glitter pens, and scored it. It’s really important that you let it dry a while, or heat set it before you try to trim or fool with it much. That cardstock really soaks in ink, and you will get fingerprints all over it if you don’t let it dry some!
This freebie was made using Christmas Card using KimB’s Candy Christmas Kit, http://digital-scrapbooking.org/shop…as-p-2774.html and Jazzy’s Christmas Candy Word art – http://digital-scrapbooking.org/shop…rt-p-2789.html . If you like the freebie, please consider purchasing the full products that created it.
Now, for my freebie, it will be available right HERE until the end of the month. Please do NOT share my files. If you want to pass it on to a friend, that’s cool, just send them here to get it for themselves.
Nothing too drastic there, right? Cool.
