LOL!  How’s that for a blog post title!  heheh!  Just some pics, stories, and a quick request today.  I’m actually running late late.  School was on a one hour delay and it seems to have thrown my entire day outta whack.

Do you have pet rules in your house?  We do here.  As in, NO PETS on the furniture.  Dog hair drives me insane!  Anyway…

So I climbed up on Bubs bed, to just chill and chat with my boy child while he played on his computer.  It definitely seems if I’m going to have ANY time with him at all, it’s going to have to be me going to talk to him.  Not vice versa. LOL! 

Anway, so there we are hanging out and he’s telling/showing me all about this fighting/fantasy game thingy he plays online when POP…(picture a meerkat popping up outta the desert.  LOL!) there was a pug in my face!

After about 10 minutes of giggling and me saying  ‘Get down Gump’…  I finally caved and sent Sis for my camera…

My Sis is one crafty child.

Here is her first “collage” style scrapbook page.  Its still in construction.  Im very proud of her.  This is designed and created 100% by HER.

This is an illustration for a book she is working on about a cat who is a teacher…

So much so that after hoarding her money for MONTHS, she finally decided to spend it all on… CRAFTING STUFF!  I mean, I buy her crayons, construction paper, and the like… but somethings, the more expensive things, she doesn’t get to use often.  So, she decided an order to Joann’s would be a great way to spend her money.

She was flopping around on the couch, whining and moaning, wishing her order would arrive when – low and behold there was a thud at the door.  It was UPS tossing her box at the door.  She ran and opened it as quick as she could!

Well, some TIM HOLTZ of course!  This child loves him, loves his videos, loves his pictures on his blog!  As in “Mommy, did you look yet?  Tim has a new video today!”  “Mommy, did you see?  Tim has a new tag today! *squeal squeal*”  LOL!  Yep, Momma’s girl!

I am needing/wanting some new recipes.  Preferably ones that do NOT contain meat (or mushrooms, Im allergic!).  My kids are so dang picky and I have to tell you.  As a grown up one can only stomach so many burgers and so much pizza…  So what I am asking is…  post a great family friendly recipe on YOUR BLOG.  Then come on back here and add your blog link to this linky thingy mabob.  Myself, AND my children, will be eternally grateful!

Here it is the 4th of December, and I haven’t even put my tree up yet!  What is wrong with me this year?  I think my holiday spirit is broken!

My intention was to put this up yesterday {actually today – but I’m preposting so when you read this it will be yesterday}  What? I think I just confused myself!  Anyway, I planned to put this up on THE FIRST.  Only problem was this, wasn’t this.  The hubs drug in the WRONG tree. ha!   He finally brought in the right one today yesterday and of course I had a headache ALL DAY. 

So instead of singing Christmas Carols, I laid or layed or lain? in the recliner and stared at this…

and wished SOMEONE was there to help get me in the spirit of Christmas…

I did muster up the garland.  Remember this spot from last year?  This is where I hang all the Christmas cards.  THIS is my favorite spot in the HOUSE once the holiday cards start coming!  Would you like to swap cards?  They dont have to be handmade. I’ll post info down below…

with absolutely ZERO help from these guys!  JERKS!  I wish I could just lay around and chew on a squirrels head all day.  Ok, maybe not that last part.  but but… its not fair I tell ya!

but now it screams “HEY – Christmas spirit lives here! Come on in!”

I’m loving this plate.  I don’t remember who gave it to me one year for Christmas.  And in truth I didn’t even put it out – EVER – until today.  Pretty but kind of plain right?

WRONG!  Look what happens when you light the candles that are hidden in the back!  ahhhh… gorgeous.  I think I sat and watched the candles flicker for at least an hour.

my heart was full, and then I came down to the studio and was smacked in the face with the reality that is my desk. OY!

Tomorrow Today I will get it cleaned off.  I don’t care if its the last thing I do!

Empty water bottles, hair conditioner?  Why is there CONDITIONER by my computer?  Does it have split ends?  GEEZE.

I did START on it, look desk.  I see desk.  There’s wood in them there piles of crap!

A few of you folks have asked, so I thought I would give you all a Gumpers update!

He is fitting in quite well.  In fact, you would think he has lived here forever. 

He really got along nicely straight from the get go, other then being a little skiddish.  He is, no doubt, still a puppy though and it’s taking Sweetz just a bit to get used to all that running and hopping around.  LOL. 

His favorite thing to do is slap her in the face (above) to get her riled up.  It worries ME because of those big bugged out peepers, slapping on them can’t be good.

She does love him though, and they have even started sleeping together, snuggled up in her tiny doggie bed even though his is RIGHT beside it.

He still has to lay on someone’s feet.  To me this is very annoying since I have to roll around from pc to pc depending on what I’m working on that day.  I have found if I drag his bed in here, he knows THATS where he is supposed to lay and he leaves me alone for a bit!  YAY!

aint he cute.  WHEN HE’S ASLEEP!  lol!
