playing with ketchup
ok, not really. more like “playing catch up”. But that other title seemed more interesting! LOL!
I can NOT believe its Wednesday already! Where do the days go during the month of December. Shoot, where are they going now that I’m an adult?! I don’t remember days flying by so quickly when I was growing up!
Anyway, I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. We did. It was just us this year, which was a little weird. But it all worked out. We opted to NOT cook a turkey this year, since no one was coming and the kids hate it. Instead I cooked a huge ham. Well, I wont go thru the entire menu for you. Here’s some pics I took though…
and the desserts. Holy Christmas, -or Thanksgiving in this case- the desserts. {ok, seriously, I just had to look that up. Desert or Dessert. Ha. so sad…}
Chocolate chess {above} and Kentucky Bourbon Pecan {below} Man, the pecan pie was so good it made me cry. Really. I’m not making that up! It was so sweet it KILLED my teeth. Every bite was the most horrific pain you can imagine. But it was so good. I kept going back for more. I cried and cried. Man that was good. Karo syrup, sugar, chocolate, booze, and butter. All in one single pie. A heart attack in a pan. Just waiting. YUM!
and then AFTER Thanksgiving, seems all you know whats-it broke loose!
Sweetz, my oldest pug, bit Sis dead on in the face. For no reason. Out of no where. Man she is getting mean.
Sis took it like a trooper man. Hardly any tears. I think I freaked out more then she did. And now she has an interesting story to tell tomorrow at school. LOL!
ok, I need to run, MUCH to do! Make sure you check out the new challenges over at DSO. And pop in HERE tomorrow for something new and FUN!
ok, Im outtie!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Just popping on to say Happy Thanksgiving to all my internet friends, and that includes YOU!
Warm hugs, and huge smiles from my family to yours on this beautiful day.
Please take a moment while saying your blessings today, and say an extra prayer for those who are finding themselves without homes or loved ones to spend today with. With the war and the economy so many are going without, its so sad. So, say a prayer for them, and selfishly let it remind YOU are blessed you actually are!
Today really seems fitting to have a THANKFUL THURSDAY doesn’t it? Here is my list.
Thankful Thursday
- we are all healthy
- we have a home
- we have food in our bellies (extreme excess today!)
- we have income
- we have friends
- we have heat
- we have clothing
- we have family that CARE
Today, we feel so blessed, We SMILE.
With the sincerest regards,
Bunny & the rest of the Cates clan.
Lets Swap: Thanksgiving
omg, Im missing all the card swaps I joined last year! I think its too late to do a Halloween one already, so I would like to host a Thanksgiving Swap. You interested?
What is a swap?
Well, simply put: you make a set number of cards, send them to the host. The host divvy’s up all the cards received and sends them back out to those that participate. So you get back a card from the other people in your swap! It is a great way to get different cards in your stash! I love swaps!
